From this article, why do you think these students dropped out of high school?
I think that they dropped out because they felt that they were to late and that no one really cares.

Which students in this article do you find most interesting? Why?
I really really liked Isaac Castillo. I think its something about his attitude. Its wonderful that he really wanted to graduate from his high school and try do something with life. Also I liked how he was there for his friends, even the ones who did get to graduate and the one who could not.

Based on what you read, what are the major differences between Birmingham High School and Animo Venice?
Well when it said that the student that were absent from Birmingham high school the teacher did not notify there parent. And here at Animo when you are not present they notify your parents and they really do care if you graduate or not.

Let;s say you were a member of the "Outsiders". How would you want the newspaper to write about your high school story. Write one paragraph that you would add to the newspaper article. In that paragraph, show what you hope your high school experience will be like until the day of graduation.

Well I truly would like them to write about the good and the bad through the whole time.

I would add to the article all the little and big event that happen throught the whole time the Outsider were attending the high school.

I hope that my high school experience is fun , exciting ,and unforgetable.I hope that are ups and downs through the whole thing becaue I think that you need to mistake to help you on later in life.

What I found interesting was that only 521 student graduate from Birningham High skool.

Why is dropping out of high school such a big deal for students? Why is it a big deal for society?

Dropping out is a big deal because it is very important that you at leats try to graduate. :-)
I think its a very big deal for society because there more people that is in school the less the crime well be.

No I dont know of any drop outs.

What can Animo Venice do to help you graduate from high school and go to college?
Truely I think that Animo is all ready helping student graduate and preping them for college

Describe the picture that you selected. What does the picture show?

The picture that I selected is a few student sitting outside of Birmingham High School after thier prom. The students had to make phone call to there relatives for ride home.

Why did you choose that picture? How do you feel about the picture?

I choose this picture because after reading the cation I felt that they should not have at call there parent or family to come get them. Yea I see if you can call to tell them you want to go home but not to come get you when the dance is over.
